We met up at about 9.30am at Sengkang (and to think that I actually kept thinking we were going to Serangoon lolol) for overpriced beehoon kway tiao at Cafe Lobby before Carine went to get her haircut at Supercut which the service wasn't super at all. Lol. I really wonder what's up with frontline customer service line nowadays which just spoils people day. I'd rather have machines & robots serving us. Sigh.

I guess selfie rod still does perk some's curiosity or the uncle at the back was just in the mood of photobombing

When we reached Sengkang Swimming Complex at about 11.30am the crowd really wasn't what I expected although it was a Sunday. I guess we just haven't been to such facilities for a long time that's why. Other than the slides and adult pool, there wasn't anything much for us to do so we showered just before it started drizzling, & pouring after we were done showering.

We had no choice but to stick around the place a little while more because the rain was just too heavy for one small umbrella to shelter us.
Headed down to Chinatown to utilize the Groupon voucher for Korean Army Stew but wow amazing me just got everything all messed up (directions, name of the shop, operating hours of the shop) right from the start that we ended up only eating at 5pm when we reached at 3pm. Forgive me please, jiejie and meimei for such a grave mistake............

But thank God we still got THROUGH it after just aimlessly walking around, being scammed into paying $9.40 for just ONE har gao and ONE fried prawn dumpling because of the super hidden additional wet towels & peanuts. -_- Once again, I can't emphasize how poorly front line customer service are doing their jobs these days.
Because the evening was still young, Meimei made her craving for Sogurt known and we happily headed down to Star Vista just for it and spent $9.60 most willingly and happily on 1 tub of yummy Froyo ^-^

By the time we had our sheokness of Sogurt and walking around Cold Storage and Cocoa Tree a little8pm Meimei (12 YO) and I (20 YO), except "middle aged" Carine (17 YO), were already drained that we decided to head back.
12 leisure hours can seem like days when you're spending it elsewhere other than home! Well spent hehehehe
