Went back to my room & started crying quite badly,
Papa even told me not to do stupid things. -.-
Like why the hell will Shawn be out?!
I couldn't get to sleep & kept waking up around 2-3am.
Wake up, first though: Shawn's out?! Am I just dreaming?!

currently still crying like tap water for 1hour25min alr.

- Shawn wanted out!
According to Agnes, Shawn had a nervous breakdown during their music lesson last week and had burst into tears, claiming he was too stressed and wanted to leave the competition.
“I told him not to be silly, that he would sail past all the competition rounds. That’s when I made the pact with him,” Agnes told us in a phone interview this afternoon.
We spoke to Shawn afterwards and he told us his breakdown last week was because he felt he didn’t sing well enough that training session. So was he happy with his elimination then? “If I don’t continue with the competition, then my family won’t have to spend money on votes anymore. But if I give up, I would be letting my supporters down. It affected me when I saw them crying so badly and I don’t want to disappoint them.”
Shawn admitted that disappointed as he was at his elimination, he didn’t cry; he is instead relieved that he can skip the next two weeks of competition and go straight to the Revival Round on July 16. His female cousin on the other hand, “cried like tap water.”
“I too wanted to cry when I saw Agnes sobbing because of our pact… but I fought the tears back. If my friends saw me crying, the floodgates will open…” he added.
For the Revival Round, Shawn’s school principal is considering getting “a professional, perhaps the choir instructor” to give him one-on-one training. Shawn’s mum also had the intention to send him to learn from Wu Jiaming but the good boy declined because he thought the lessons would be too expensive.

I really thought he was officially gonna quit & give up this whole thing.
But I guess it's just a MAYBE.
That kind of somehow stopped my tears from flowing for now.
A Night When A Boy Became A Man :
Many primary schools kids wet their pillows last night. Shawn is their number one idol and it was too much of a shock for kids out there who put all their hopes on him to win for them...
Who would have predicted his departure from the stage?
He was the same Shawn who let out a jubilant cheer when his good jie-jie Agnes and kor-kor Zijie got through…
He was the same Shawn who cried buckets of tears for those got out in the last few quarter finals…
He was the same Shawn who put up a cheerful brave front to comfort all the jie-jie and kor-kor who cried for him last night. he just didn't want them to feel bad or sad for him...
Overnight, our baby Shawn became a man…
I am sure he was very sad and disappointed deep down without showing it. Who wouldn’t? Somehow, it is cruel for a young kid to go through the reality of an elimination. But, he has certainly grown up and learned so much as compared to other kids of his age.
Shawn, you mustn’t give up. You must sing for us again…
