inspire stronger camp`08!

Yes, I'm back. :)

Inspire stronger`08 was not bad to me, at least I learnt new things and had fun. Hee. So, where should I start..? :/ I didn't really went to take down what exactly happen in the 3 days 2 nights so I shall just roughly post what I can remember then. :D

Day 1.

I just realised it's a longggggg post so it's up to you if you want to read or not. :)

Met up with Valerie, Daphne & Celeste in the mrt and train down to Clementi together. Waited for some people and soon took bus to Diary Farm. We reached at 9.10am, which was late by 10 minutes but I didn't make much difference anyway as we still have to wait for a while.

Breifing, practice cheer etc. Was in Jabez Team 1 which consist Huiwen, Khoonfai, Celeste, Valerie, Daphne, Kaixin, Janadez, Simin and Suiyang. One of the cheer goes like..

JABEZ!

Went to the open field nearby, where there's a lot of stations with random outdoor games. Played the water bomb game first aka Indiana Jones where we went to prepare packets of water bomb and threw it at the opponent when they are trying to get treasure and stuffs. We only managed to play the first part of the game and have to stop due to the constrain of time.

Next, Call-me-smarty and one game that the person in charge with shout out the number you were given and you have to get up from the seating position and run to the starting point. My number got called out twice. The first time I managed to get to the starting point faster than the opponent but the other time my number got shouted again right after I finished running and I lagged for like 5 seconds and obviously, I lost. Lol.

When we were about to play the other station a stupid insect, not sure if its a bee stung me and it pain is like a needle poking you la! It kind of went inside my shorts and I tried using my hand to swing it off and stung both my finger and leg. -.- Was taken away to rest and Rae helped me apply something and soon got better.

Played another game which involved all the other houses which was something like Captain's Ball when the game master threw random items like basketball, ping pong ball, banana and a RAW WHOLE PIECE CHICKEN. Was fun la cos we kept trying to siam whenever we see the chicken coming our direction. HAHAHAHAHA.

Went back campsite, bathed and the toilet is damn -.- Me and Shihui went to the boy's toilet as there's no boys and took turns to bathed as the showering area has no doors at all we helped by being the door guard of each other in case someone pop from some where. Practise for the drama and I acted as, Jabez's, mother. I'd to act the scene when Jabez's mum's giving birth to Jabez in pain. Lol. Helped to serve dinner and my hand's muscle ached due to holding the tongs too long.

Had session at Salvation Army and every house acted out their drama and all the 3 other houses acted well. :) Jabez's got starting, but the ending anyhow bomb. LOL. Kelvin preached about having dreams and visions too. The presence of God's was super strong, one of the strongest I experienced. I got laid hands for the first time and the feeling of it is super duper uber cool. I love experiencing God in a new way. :D

Went back to the campsite and did my 1 hour of quiet time. First time I managed to pray for a whole 1 hour man. Those who slept have to wake up around 2am for night walk, walking in the dark in the forest. Completed the whole night walk around 3am plus and shared sleeping bag with Shihui as she didn't bring and it was super colddddddd.

Day 2.

Woke up around 7am, washed up, did light exercises, had breakfast. Had session 2 at Salvation Army and Pastor Zhuang preached this time and made a altar call for those who wanted to rise up to be a cell group leader. Went up, but I just want to rise up and serve God in another way. Hehe. Pastor also prayed specially for Shannen too, cool! ^^

Went to the open field after that and played 2 games in a whole house and one of it we have to build a shelter for the whole house, 40 people, and we only managed to think of a smart idea at the last 5 minutes. In the end we were still disqualified and everyone's mood went down. -.-

Ran back to campsite, hoping to get to bathe first but the whole toilet was still quite packed. Chiong-ed, changed to Haute Conture clothes and my boots made me look as if I wear until very kua zhang. Pin De even asked, "你要去唱歌台啊？" -______________________-

Took charter bus and sat with Janadez. Slacked outside the Cuppage(?) as room still wasn't ready and had dinner at the door step of the building. Voted for Johnny and Jodie for the Man Hunt and Beauty pageant. Then blah blah blah, went inside the auditorium around 7pm+. Johnny got to the top 5 of Man Hunt and Jodie got Miss Sunshine. Our cell group brought a total number of 27 new friends, praise the Lord! :D

The whole thing ended around 10.30pm and took charter bus back to campsite and Shumen(?) was entertaining the whole Jabez throughout the whole bus journey with his SIA aka Shumen's International Airline which made everyone laugh non stop. LOL.


And yes, Joan and Justina joined us for the camp on that night! :D

Went to the bunk and slacked a while there. I was falling asleep, lying on my sleeping bag, and once Joan they all mentioned my name, I opened my eyes immediately. Lol. Went canteen and did 15 minutes of quiet time and slacked there, chatted with Shihui, Justina and Zhengyang. Many people were there too, waiting for their macdonalds' delivery. The food came around 2am+ and I didn't order at first but I bought a cheese burger which actually belonged to someone but the person was sleeping. Went to sleep after that.

Day 3, today.

Woke up around 7.20am, helped a little in serving breakfast and took charter bus to Jurong West's CHC with all our belongings. Had session 4 in a room and Bee Leng preached our Used To(s). There might be last minute(s), but God will never be late! Bee Leng prayed specially for Johnny only, super cool. Jepthah was the winning house, congrats!

The whole thing ended around 2pm and all the house went to Verera(?) to take group pictures and stuffs. Went to have lunch at another coffee shop after that, took bus 243 to Boon Lay mrt station and took mrt back Yishun. Valerie they all were highing, laughing throughout the whole journey back. Lol. Walked back home.

We wanted to make Huiwen paiseh. HAHAHA.
